Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, ensure accurate reporting, process transactions, and help prepare financial statements. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of UAE financial regulations and accounting principles are required.

Key Responsibilities

:

Financial Reporting

: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with UAE accounting standards and international accounting standards (IFRS).

General Ledger Management

: Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment and collection of outstanding invoices.

Bank Reconciliation

: Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.

Tax Compliance

: Assist with VAT filings, tax returns, and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.

Audit Support

: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.

Record Keeping

: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.

Collaboration

: Work closely with other departments to ensure financial data aligns with operational needs.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 2-3 years

of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE or the Middle East region. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and tax regulations. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, etc.). Familiarity with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Advanced MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial functions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills in English.
