Job Description

We are seeking an experienced

Accountant

to manage finance and accounting functions efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely payments, and supporting month-end processes. This role requires proficiency in accounting principles and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Post and process journal entries, sales & purchase invoices, and maintain accurate records. Ensure timely and accurate accounts payable and receivable processes. Perform monthly bank reconciliations and process payments to suppliers and service providers. Prepare cheques, bank transfers, and ensure all payments are made in accordance with company policies. Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and reconcile accounts periodically. Assist in the preparation of monthly reports, budgets, and financial statements. Monitor overdue and ageing receivables and ensure that they are within tolerance limits. Support audit schedules, year-end closing, and compliance with IAS & IFRS. Collaborate with team members and external partners to resolve queries and ensure smooth operations.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of experience as an accountant. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and accounting software. Ability to handle confidential financial data with accuracy and integrity. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to engage with team members and external stakeholders. Excellent organizational abilities and ability to meet deadlines consistently. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
