Responsibilities:Prepare and submit accurate VAT returns in compliance with local regulations.Ensure timely reconciliation of VAT accounts.Monitor VAT-related transactions to ensure compliance and identify any discrepancies.Keep up to date with VAT legislation and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.Prepare and file corporate tax returns accurately and on time.Calculate tax liabilities and ensure timely payments to avoid penalties.Assist in tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.Conduct research on tax-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to management.Maintain accurate financial records, including journals, ledgers, and reconciliations.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Support budgeting and forecasting processes.Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.Ensure compliance with all financial and tax regulations.Conduct internal audits to ensure the accuracy of financial data.Develop and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate risks.Work closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.Provide guidance to other departments on VAT and tax-related matters.Support the finance team in ad hoc projects and initiativesRequired Skills:Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 3 of experience in accounting with a focus on VAT and corporate tax.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Strong understanding of VAT and corporate tax laws and regulations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.
