Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized accountant to join our team. As an accountant with at least 1 year of experience in Oracle E-net Suite , you will play a key role in maintaining financial records, preparing accurate financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. Ensure that all entries comply with relevant accounting standards and follow company policies and procedures.

2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse periodic financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide key financial indicators for management review and decision-making.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts by providing accurate financial data and analysis. Collaborate with other departments to gather relevant information and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.

4. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes. Ensure timely payment of invoices, accurate recording of vendor transactions, and effective collection of customer payments. Reconcile accounts regularly to maintain accurate financial records.

5. Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax filings. Collaborate with external tax advisors or auditors to ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.

6. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support management decision-making. Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement to help drive financial performance and efficiency.

7. Audit Support: Assist in preparing documentation and schedules for internal and external audits. Collaborate with auditors to ensure a smooth and accurate audit process.

8. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate accounting processes and systems to identify opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness improvements. Recommend and implement changes to streamline workflows and enhance financial reporting accuracy.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

- 2 years of experience in an accounting role.

- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle net Suite) and advanced MS Excel skills.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
