Zapegg Tax Consultant is a leading provider of tax advisory and financial services in Dubai, delivering tailored solutions to a diverse clientele. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team and play a key role in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.


Key Responsibilities:


• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, including filing accurate and timely VAT returns.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze financial data to assist in decision-making and improve business processes.
• Assist in the preparation of audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Monitor cash flow and recommend cost-saving strategies.
• Stay updated with changes in UAE tax laws and financial regulations.
• Provide support in implementing accounting systems and software upgrades.


Requirements:


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) are an advantage.
• Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a tax consultancy or similar field.
• Strong knowledge of UAE tax laws, including VAT compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar) and MS Office.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
