Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.



General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee entries, reconciliations, and adjustments to maintain an accurate general ledger.



Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets, monitoring expenses, and preparing financial forecasts.



Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage invoices, payments, and collections to maintain smooth cash flow.



Tax Compliance: Ensure timely preparation and submission of VAT and other regulatory filings in accordance with UAE laws.



Audit Coordination: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.



Financial Analysis: Perform cost analyses, profitability reviews, and other financial evaluations to guide decision-making.



Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and accuracy.



Software Utilization: Leverage accounting software to automate processes and maintain financial data integrity.



Requirements:

Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a consultancy or professional services firm.



Education: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.



Skills:

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Excel.



Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.



Knowledge of UAE tax laws and financial regulations.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.
