Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. VAT Filing and Compliance

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation, filing, and payment of VAT returns in compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation and records to support VAT filings.
• Stay updated on VAT laws and regulations and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
• Handle VAT audits and respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities.

2. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Reporting

• Implement and maintain AML policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor financial transactions to identify and report suspicious activities.
• Prepare and submit periodic AML reports to the relevant authorities.
• Conduct AML training for employees and ensure adherence to internal controls.

3. Statutory Compliance and Regulatory Requirements

• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including corporate tax filings, and UBO regulations.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth statutory reporting.
• Maintain accurate and complete statutory records and ensure timely submission of required reports.

4. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct financial analyses to support decision-making and provide insights into business performance.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of general ledger entries.
• Assist with year-end audits and resolve audit queries.

5. Budgeting and Forecasting

• Develop and maintain annual budgets in collaboration with management.
• Monitor actual performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.
• Prepare financial forecasts to aid in strategic planning and decision-making.
• Identify risks and opportunities affecting financial results.

6. Process Improvement and Internal Controls

• Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in financial reporting and compliance.
• Ensure robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial integrity.
• Conduct periodic reviews of financial policies and recommend updates as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
