Job Description

The Accountant cum Insurance Coordinator will manage the clinic's financial transactions and oversee insurance claims and reimbursements. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, insurance processes, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and manage financial statements, budgets, and financial reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
• Process payroll, including tracking employee hours, deductions, and benefits.
• Manage clinic expenses and ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility.
• Submit insurance claims and follow up on claim status to ensure timely payment.
• Address and resolve any issues related to insurance claims and reimbursements.
• Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and provide information about coverage and billing.
• Maintain accurate records of insurance claims, payments, and denials.
• Ensure compliance with insurance policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient handling of financial and insurance matters.
• Provide reports and financial analysis to management as needed.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records as needed.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and insurance regulations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and healthcare regulations.
• Prepare and file necessary reports and documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing billing and insurance-related questions and concerns.
• Handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
