Job Description

:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of total experience, with at least 3 years in an accounting firm within the UAE. This role requires deep knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as strong expertise in financial reporting, audits, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy in financial documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of VAT returns and other regulatory filings.
• Maintain compliance with UAE laws and regulations, particularly in relation to tax and financial reporting.
• Analyze financial data to assist management in making informed business decisions.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support external auditors by providing necessary financial documentation and explanations.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 5 years of total experience, with a minimum of 3 years in an accounting firm in the UAE.
• Certifications: ACCA, IFRS Diploma, or a relevant accounting certification is required.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding and practical application of IFRS.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with UAE tax laws and regulations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED7,000.00 per month
