We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with expertise in Odoo ERP to join our finance team in the Tyre/Trading industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accurate reporting, and optimizing accounting workflows within Odoo. This role requires strong technical proficiency in accounting, as well as hands-on experience with Odoo to streamline financial operations and improve overall efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Odoo ERP Management:
• Manage and optimize financial modules within Odoo, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, general ledger, and reporting.
• Customize and configure Odoo workflows to ensure accurate financial reporting and efficient processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Odoo ERP functionality for accounting purposes.
• General Accounting:
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete within Odoo.
• Maintain the general ledger and prepare month-end and year-end closings.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
• Financial Reporting:
• Generate timely and accurate financial reports through Odoo for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management.
• Inventory and Cost Accounting:
• Monitor and track inventory movements, costs, and stock levels within Odoo.
• Perform regular inventory audits and reconciliations in collaboration with the sales and procurement teams.
• Ensure accurate costing of products, particularly within the tyre/trading business context.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Process invoices, manage payments, and reconcile customer and vendor accounts through Odoo.
• Monitor accounts receivable and work closely with the sales team to ensure timely collections.
• Prepare payment schedules and ensure vendors are paid in a timely manner.
• Tax Compliance and Reporting:
• Manage VAT returns and other tax filings, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Stay updated on tax laws and make necessary adjustments in Odoo for accurate tax calculations.
• Provide accurate tax reporting and analysis to management.
• Banking and Cash Flow Management:
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all banking transactions are accurately recorded in Odoo.
• Monitor cash flow, assist with forecasting, and ensure liquidity management.
• Manage multi-currency transactions and reconciliations in Odoo, particularly for international operations.
• Audit and Internal Controls:
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports from Odoo.
• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and accounting policies within Odoo workflows.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance internal controls and reporting accuracy.
Requirements:
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
• Experience:
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Odoo ERP .
• Previous experience in the Tyre or trading industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management, cost accounting, and multi-currency transactions.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Odoo ERP for managing accounting operations, including customizations and reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Language Proficiency:
• Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of other languages (e.g., Arabic) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the Tyre industry or trading sector.
• Familiarity with VAT and tax regulations in UAE.
• Ability to manage financial processes across different regions, including imports/exports.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
