Job Description

The primary responsibilities of an Accountant include maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. They perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts that align with business goals. Additionally, the role involves managing internal controls, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations.

Accountant responsibilities include

• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.
• Summarizes the current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets profit and loss statements and other reports.
• Processing all the payments on timely basis utilities, vendor/ supplier, visa processing fees etc.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Processing VAT filing payments and returns as per UAE law
• Collaborating with plant management to effectively monitor financial performance against budget and operational goals.
• Aware of the financial audit and experience in handling them alone.Filing and analysing the audit reports.
• Provide assistant / managing admin related payment activities.
• Reconciliation of the bank statement monthly basis. Keeping track record of bank balance
• Participating in inventory analyses and reconciliations, ensuring accurate inventory valuation and accounting.
• Assisting in capital asset management and maintaining fixed asset ledgers.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate cost records and preparing financial reports related to production, inventory, and variance analysis.
• Implementing and maintaining internal audit controls to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience. Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
• Experience in accounting at least for 5years and above.
• Added Advantage Experience in working in manufacturing company.

Requirements and skills

• Work experience as an Accountant
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
