We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our team.

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with budget and closing processes. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy of financial data and supporting the overall financial operations of our organization

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records for accuracy.
• Post daily transactions and journal entries.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations.
• Resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist Prepare and analyze financial statements.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely processing and accuracy.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Monitor budget performance and report variances.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and tax requirements.
• Assist in tax filings and audits.
• Aid in implementing new accounting systems and processes.
• Assist with financial analysis and special projects.

Required to that role:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-5 years of accounting or related experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Preferably experience in Shipping sector
• Good problem-solving and time management skills
• Work under pressure.
