Job Description

: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accountant to join our finance team. As an accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data to support decision-making within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support external audits and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA/ACCA certification is an advantage.
• Proven experience as an accountant or in a relevant field for a minimum 3 years.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of working on Odoo is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
