Job Description

We are an advertising company in Dubai searching for General Accountant who will be able to analyze financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.
Candidate should be able to undertake all aspects of Financial Management, Financial Reporting, Budget and Forecasts preparation, and Development of Internal Control Policies and Procedures.

Your duties :

• Bookkeeping:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including transactions, expenses, and revenue.
• Record and classify financial transactions into appropriate accounts.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis.
• Tax Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Prepare and file various tax returns, such as income tax and sales tax returns.
• Auditing:
• Assist in internal or external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and explanations.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, making payments, and reconciling vendor statements.
• Handle accounts receivable by generating invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.
• Payroll Processing:
• Calculate and process employee payroll, including deductions and withholdings.
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations.
• Financial Analysis:
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Cash Management:
• Monitor cash flow and manage the organization's liquidity.
• Make recommendations to optimize cash utilization.
• Financial Software Management:
• Utilize accounting software to streamline financial processes and maintain accurate records.
• Stay updated on software upgrades and improvements.
• Compliance and Regulations:
• Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure financial practices align with industry standards and legal requirements.
• Communication:
• Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders, management, and relevant departments.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Financial Planning:
• Assist in long-term financial planning and strategic decision-making.
• Evaluate the financial impact of business initiatives.
• Risk Management:
• Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Monitor and report on financial risk factors.

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
