Job Description

haus & haus are looking for an Accountant. The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Role requirements:

• Proper recording of business transactions including sales, purchases, payments, receipts, expenses and any other transactions on the accounting software used by the Company
• Calculating and recording employees' commissions during Monthly Payroll
• Reconciliation of books of accounts with bank statements
• Capitalization of fixed assets and intangible assets on the accounting software
• Calculating and recording depreciation and amortization on the accounting software
• Recording of accruals, prepayments, advances and liabilities
• Prepare and maintain invoices, LPOs and all necessary accounting documents
• Maintenance of General Ledger as per Company's Chart of Accounts
• Calculations of VAT and maintaining the accounts as per VAT regulations
• Any other tasks related to the accounting and bookkeeping of the Company
• Regular contact with Brokers and Teams providing/gaining feedback
• Maintain accurate records on properties, clients and owners
• Working days Monday to Saturday, 9am - 6pm

Skills & professional requirements:

• Qualified or part qualified ACCA / CPA / CA.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in an accounting role in UAE Companies.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge and experience of complete accounting work applying the required accounting standards.
• Able to implement accounting principles in different areas of the Company.
• Excellent practical experience and knowledge of using different Accounting Software.
• Advanced skills of Microsoft Excel using Pivot Tables, Data Analysis, Financial Reporting and advanced use of formulas and functions.
• Achieving deadlines and adherence to company's policies and guidelines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong work ethic.
