Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, extensive experience working in the UAE, and a comprehensive understanding of UAE taxation laws. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, and other relevant platforms is essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports in compliance with UAE regulations and accounting standards.

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of VAT returns and other tax filings as per UAE taxation laws.

- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

- Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Proven experience working as an Accountant in the UAE, with a solid understanding of local business practices and regulatory requirements.

- In-depth knowledge of UAE taxation laws and experience in handling VAT filings and compliance.

- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
