Job Description

Responsibilities and Duties

• Managing the accounts of various construction projects by creating detailed budgets, overseeing supplier contracts, evaluating production costs, and verifying invoice statements.
• Performing accounting duties throughout the project , such as preparing invoices, estimating cash flow, and signing off on purchase orders.
• Preparing financial statements, monitoring costs and budgets , and working with project managers and associates to ensure the company's financial needs are met.
• Providing management and financial accounting support for the organization, including taking responsibility for the entries on the general ledger, reconciliations, and completing detailed reviews of the profit and loss account on the company accounting system.

Qualifications and Skills

• A relevant degree such as a Bachelor's and College Degree in Accounting, Finance, Education, Construction, Business, Real Estate, Business/Administration, or Communication is typically required.
• Desired skills for construction accountants include construction cost accounting and general accounting .
• A good accounting background, thorough knowledge of cost accounting methodologies, and working knowledge in ERP systems are also desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 per month
