Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will support their financial operations within the logistics sector and will help ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.Job Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage and oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis and insights.
• Audit and Compliance: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Expense Management: Monitor and control company expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Taxation: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations, providing financial insights and support as needed.
• Software Utilization: Utilize accounting software and tools to manage and streamline financial processes.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the logistics sector.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and Google Workspace.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Professional Certifications: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Sector Experience: Experience specifically in the logistics sector.
• Advanced Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in accounting and financial management software.
• Multilingual Skills: Proficiency in additional languages relevant to business operations.
• Nationality: Filipino.
• Gender: Female.

Working Hours:

• Days: Monday to Saturday
• Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
