The ideal candidate will support their financial operations within the logistics sector and will help ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.Job Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage and oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis and insights.
Audit and Compliance: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Expense Management: Monitor and control company expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
Taxation: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations, providing financial insights and support as needed.
Software Utilization: Utilize accounting software and tools to manage and streamline financial processes.
Job Requirements:
Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the logistics sector.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and Google Workspace.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with a proactive and positive attitude.
Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Professional Certifications: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
Sector Experience: Experience specifically in the logistics sector.
Advanced Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in accounting and financial management software.
Multilingual Skills: Proficiency in additional languages relevant to business operations.
