Our client is well-established firm dealing with the sale and distribution of graphic and packaging grades of paper in the Middle East, Asia and Northern Africa. They work closely with some of the biggest paper mills in Asia, Europe and South America to provide our customers with excellent service and support. Currently, we are hiring an Accountant for our client who will join their team in Dubai.Responsibilities:

• Maintaining proper accounting records on a daily basis.
• Daily bookkeeping, data entries, and recording transactions in the SAP Accounting Software Program.
• Liaising with our external auditing company and providing them with any required documentation for their end-of-year audits.
• Handling incoming and outgoing transactions for both the company and our director.
• Handling payroll, taxes, and submission of all necessary paperwork for the company.
• Preparing reports as requested by the management.
• Working closely with our Accounting Team in our Head Offices in Cyprus for the proper maintenance of all financial records.
• Supporting the Group Financial Controller with any necessary duties.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English is imperative (both written and spoken). Fluency in Arabic languages will be seen as an advantage.
• Experience in the role of Accountant is a must.
• At least 1 year experience using SAP Accounting Software
• Experience in preparing detailed/compounded financial statements.
• Experience handling payroll, incoming and outgoing transactions, credit management and collection of debts, bank reconciliations, managing budgets and private banking matters.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and plenty of initiative.
• A loyal, dependable person who understands the meaning of confidentiality.
• A motivated individual who is not afraid of hard work, and who is able to multi-task, working both as part of a team and independently.
