The Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented accountant to join our team at a furniture company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, as well as a solid understanding of the furniture industry. The accountant will be responsible for managing the company\'s financial records, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data to ensure that the company remains financially stable and profitable. Key Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage the company\'s financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and prepare bank reconciliations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyze financial data and provide insights to management regarding financial performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement. \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date, and support budgeting and forecasting efforts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide support to external auditors during audits and reviews. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to accounting and finance.

Requirements
Qualifications: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the furniture or manufacturing industry. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with financial software and ERP systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are also essential, as well as proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel and Word.
