Job Overview As an accountant you will be responsible for managing and reporting financial data of the organization. Prepare financial statements, examine and analyze a companys accounts and ensure compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures. You will also analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.Responsibilities
Reconciling the companys bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers.
Preparing and sending invoices to the customers and recording the coming bills from vendors.
Completing analysis of the employee expenditures.
Managing income and expenditure accounts.
Preparing the companys financial reports using income and expenditure data.
Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations.
Preparation of monthly budget.
Ensure compliance with applicable standards rules, regulations, and systems of internal control.
Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
Assist with and act as the primary point-of-contact for auditor requests.
Document financial transactions of various types by entering account information data.
Answer accounting related questions by interpreting as well as researching accounting regulations and policy.
Ensure that legal financial requirements are adhered to and advice management on relevant actions.
Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
Requirements and skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
2-5 years of accounting/finance experience.
Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
Knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
