Responsibilities: * Manage day-to-day accounting operations related to import/export transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into business performance and financial health.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of import/export documentation, including invoices, customs declarations, and shipping documents.
• Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies or potential risks in financial records and take corrective actions as necessary.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in VAT regulations and ensure compliance with VAT reporting requirements, including timely submission of VAT returns and payments.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in the implementation of accounting software and systems to enhance accuracy and productivity in financial reporting.

Qualifications: * Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles within the import/export industry, with a strong focus on VAT compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and VAT laws applicable to the UAE.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve complex accounting issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
