Job Title: Accountant
Department: Finance/Accounting
Reports To: Accounting Manager/Finance Director
Job Summary: The Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This role involves performing a variety of accounting duties, including general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, tax preparation, and budget monitoring. The Accountant will work closely with other members of the finance team to support the overall financial health and efficiency of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception Duties:
• Greet and welcome visitors.
• Answer and forward phone calls.
• Maintain a clean reception area.
• Handle mail and packages.
Financial Transaction Management:
• Record and maintain all financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Reconcile accounts, including bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience as an Accountant or receptionist.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
