We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant cum Administrator to join our team. This dual-role position is crucial for maintaining our financial records and ensuring smooth administrative operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and administrative support, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.
• Oversee daily bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior team members.
• Delegate tasks and ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting functions.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare regular financial reports as instructed by Senior Manager & Management.
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, including VAT filing and reporting.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Assist in liaising with external auditors and tax consultants for accurate and compliant financial reporting.
• Help implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions.
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals
• Manage the HR department and its team of employees
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and selection.
• Develop and implement employee training and development programs
• Manage employee performance and conduct performance reviews
• Administer employee benefits programs
• Handle employee relations issues, including disciplinary action and terminations
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations
• Liaise with PRO to renew offices licenses, employee visas and work permits
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 2-3+ years of experience in accounting and human resources management
• Basic knowledge of UAE tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft application
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives
• Strong experience in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding
• Experience in employee training and development
• Experience in performance management
• Experience in benefits administration
• Strong knowledge of employment law and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
