Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our small but dynamic legal services firm as an

Accountant cum Admin Officer

. This role is pivotal in managing the financial and administrative functions of the firm, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent administrative skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:Accounting Duties:



Financial Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., Zoho, Tally, or similar). Prepare and manage invoices, receipts, payments, and expense reports. Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.

Budgeting and Reporting:

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Support the management in budgeting and financial forecasting. Generate financial reports for management review.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other financial laws. Liaise with auditors and tax consultants as required. Maintain proper documentation for audits and legal purposes.

Payroll:

Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE labor laws. Manage employee benefits, leave records, and other payroll-related matters.

Administrative Duties:



Office Management:

Oversee day-to-day office operations, including supplies, equipment, and maintenance. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for office services. Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and professional.

Documentation and Filing:

Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems for legal and corporate documents. Assist in drafting and formatting legal and corporate documents as needed.

Communication and Coordination:

Act as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and vendors. Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing them to the appropriate personnel. Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the team.

HR Support:

Assist in recruitment processes, including posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees. Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with UAE labor laws.

Event Coordination:

Organize firm events, meetings, and client gatherings. Coordinate logistics for seminars, workshops, and other firm-related activities.

Qualifications and Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting and administration, preferably in a legal or professional services firm. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks,Zoho, Tally) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and payroll processing. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Arabic & Hindi is an advantage.
