- Manage all aspects of the accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of construction accounting principles, including job costing and revenue recognition.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor project budgets and expenses, and reconcile accounts related to construction projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate billing and invoicing for clients and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with project managers to track project costs and profitability.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Assist with financial planning and budgeting for construction projects.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and regulatory filings related to construction activities.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry standards affecting the construction sector.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives and financial goals.
