Responsibilities
• Full Spectrum Accounting :
Manage all aspects of accounting functions, including general ledger postings, inventory reconciliation, and fixed asset schedules.
• Ad Hoc Duties :
Perform additional tasks as required to support the finance department.
• Month-End Closing :
Perform month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Financial Reporting :
Prepare monthly financial reports, including presentations for management meetings.
• Tax Compliance :
Prepare and submit VAT reports, ensure compliance with corporate tax regulations, and manage statutory matters.
• Audit & Budgeting :
Prepare audit schedules, liaise with external auditors, and participate in annual budgeting and financial planning.
• Analysis & Costing :
Provide profitability analysis and support in product costing and transfer pricing.
• System Enhancements :
Participate in system enhancements and implementations to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree in Finance/Accounting or Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting. (Retail industry)
• Knowledge of product costing and transfer pricing.
• Experience with audit processes and familiarity with the retail industry is advantageous.
