Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparation of monthly cash flow statement
• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
• Gather supporting data for annual budgeting
• Reconciliation of tax register
• Prepare VAT summary related to VAT return
• Provide accounting and clerical support to ensure that financial transactions are in compliance and with the VAT regulations
• Prepare, validate and submit monthly and quarterly VAT returns
• Conduct day-to-day transactional processing and reporting on taxation.
• Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Fluency in Arabic & English (Read, type and speak)
• 5+ years of experience as Accountant
• Experience with financial software and systems (preference to Microsoft ERP)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g. CPA) are a plus

Pay: Up to AED9,000.00 per month
