Job Description

New Africana General Trading LLC is seeking an experienced accountant to join our team in Dubai. The accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial accounts, preparing financial reports, and providing financial support to management to ensure accurate decision-making. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the general trading or food trading sector within the UAE.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and Analyze Monthly Financial Reports: Including the preparation of profit and loss statements and other necessary financial reports.

Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable: Track outstanding invoices, process payments, issue customer invoices, and handle collections.

Maintain Financial Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions and adhere to accounting standards.

Budget Preparation and Financial Forecasting: Assist management in financial planning by preparing monthly and annual budgets and forecasts.

Prepare Tax Reports: Handle all required tax obligations in accordance with local regulations.

Internal Auditing: Review financial records to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies or deviations.

Reporting to Management: Provide financial reports to management on a regular basis to support informed decision-making.

Coordinate with Financial Team and Banks: Liaise with banks and regularly perform bank reconciliations.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar industry.

Knowledge of accounting systems such as Zoho or Odoo.

Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
