Job Title: Accountant - Construction Company

We are seeking a skilled and experienced accountant to join our construction company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various financial tasks, including VAT compliance, budget forecasting, monitoring, invoicing, and maintaining financial records. Proficiency in English and Arabic (both spoken and written) is essential for effective communication. Strong computer skills, especially in MS Office applications and ERP systems, are required to excel in this role.

Responsibilities:

- Managing VAT compliance and reporting procedures

- Forecasting and monitoring budgeting activities

- Utilizing ERP systems for financial data management

- Generating and managing invoices

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records

- Collaborating with various departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance

- Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent

- Minimum of 5 years of cumulative experience in CONSTRUCTION COMPANY accounting roles

- Proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written)

- Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office

- Experience with ERP systems

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Knowledge of construction industry financial practices is a plus
