Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records for all transactions within the medical center, including revenue, expenses, and patient payments.
• Billing and Invoicing: Process patient billing in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure proper coding and verification of medical services provided, working closely with clinical staff.
• Insurance Claims: Tracking of Insurance billing and Submission, ensuring accuracy in claim documentation. Resolve any discrepancies with insurance providers.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections. Follow up on overdue accounts and ensure compliance with payment terms.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
• Payroll Processing: Assist in payroll processing for medical center staff, ensuring that salaries and benefits are correctly calculated and paid on time.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other relevant tax laws, preparing necessary reports for tax filings.
• Audit Assistance: Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts for the medical center, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in Abu Dhabi or Al Ain, preferably in a medical or healthcare environment.
• Strong understanding of medical billing processes, insurance claims, and healthcare financial management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of UAE tax laws, VAT regulations, and healthcare-specific financial regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
