Job Description

We, Ashtar Security & Safety Consultancy LLC are an Emirates International Accreditation center (EIAC) accredited, Trakhees (EHS) and DCAA (Dubai South) approved company with ISO 9001 (QMS), We are Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC) accredited Third Party Inspection Body carrying out various Inspections on Lifting Equipment, Lifting Accessories, Pressure Vessels, Non-Destructive Tests, etc. We carry out specialized inspections on Infrared Thermographic Inspection, Vibration Analysis Test, Glass Barriers Test, Anchoring Points Inspection (Pull-out Tests & Load Test), Torque Tests, Electrical Inspections, Storage / Pallet Racking Inspections, PAT inspections, etc. . We are approved to carry out various Safety Inspections by Trakhees (EHS) and DCAA (Dubai Civil Aviation Authority).

We're currently on the lookout for a Accountant to work in our Dubai office. The role will suit a confident individual with a proven track record in accounting principles and knowledge of third-party inspection.

Required Skills:

• Experience in accounts , Peachtree , and administration work
• knowledge in Ms office, and excel
• knowledge in vat filing
• knowledge about sales and client management
• Maintain the executive's agenda and assist in planning appointments, board meetings, conferences, etc.
• Attend meetings and keep minutes.
• Receive and screen phone calls, and redirect them when appropriate.
• Handle and priorities all outgoing or incoming correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.)..
• Handle confidential documents, ensuring they remain secure.
• Prepare invoices or financial statements and assist with bookkeeping.
• Monitor office supplies and negotiate terms with suppliers to ensure the most cost-effective orders.
• Maintain electronic and paper records, ensuring information is organized and easily accessible.
• Conduct research and prepare presentations or reports as assigned.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax regulations and prepare corporate tax returns.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly financial statements and reports.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts to guide business strategy.
• Audit Support: Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Cost Analysis: Analyze cash flows, tracking, and other revenue streams.
• Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, contracts (Ejari), and company PDC cheques.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaboration: Partner with other departments, especially the sales team, to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on corporate tax.
• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Peachtree (minimum 2 years' experience).
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, GAAP/IFRS standards, and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
