Muddle Me supplies innovative hospitality tools and equipment to the Middle East's leading hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars and clubs. We deal with cutting-edge products and have a passion for pushing the boundaries of creativity within the food and beverage industry.

We're looking for an Accountant to join our team.

• Performs day to day accounting transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts payable data
• Reviews all invoices for accuracy and approval prior to processing?outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Ensures landed costs of imported inventory are recorded according to established procedures
• Reconciles the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Verifies?and investigates discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
• Generates?reports detailing accounts payable status
• Assists in preparing and presenting financial statements and reports for management and external agencies
• Petty Cash Management - monitor cash, expense bookings
• Preparation of tax returns in line with local regulations and submit to manager for review and approval before payment and filing to the portal.
• Monthly bank reconciliation and submit to manager for review.
• Adheres to local regulations and company policies
• Any other duties as specified

Requirements

• Experienced in Accounts Payable for at least 2 years
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent certifications
• Knowledgeable in general bookkeeping and banking
• Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel)
• Experience working with an ERP system (preferably?Sage X3)
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
