Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our training facility. This role will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, with a particular focus on managing revenue from course registrations, tracking training expenses, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience working in a fast-paced environment. Experience with educational or training-related finances is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Manage revenue recognition from course registrations, including online and in-person payments.
• Track and reconcile training-related expenses, such as instructor fees, materials, and facility rentals.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including budget vs. actual reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with the development and monitoring of budgets.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal policies.
• Assist with audits and tax preparation.
• Potentially manage inventory of training materials and supplies.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and program development, to provide financial insights.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (including advanced functions).
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Zoho accounts system)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in the education, training, or non-profit sector is a plus.
