Job Summary :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards. This position plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of the company and providing critical insights for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

• Financial Record Keeping : Maintain accurate financial records for all transactions, including purchase orders, sales invoices, and payment processing.
• General Ledger Management : Prepare and reconcile general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
• Reporting and Analysis : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with the finance team and other departments.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable : Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Audit and Compliance : Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
• Inventory Costing : Track and analyze inventory costs, including valuation and turnover, to support accurate financial reporting and decision-making.
• Tax Preparation : Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and other relevant taxes.
• Cash Flow Management : Monitor and manage the company's cash flow, including bank reconciliations and cash projections.
• Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for improving accounting procedures and implementing best practices for efficiency.

Requirements :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is a plus.
• Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accountant.
• Skills :
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Microsoft Excel).
• Familiarity with IFRS or local accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
