Accountant for Insurance Brokerage - Abu Dhabi
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements and reports.
Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts.
Collaborate with other departments for financial insights.
Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel for reporting.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Enter financial transactions (Invoice, Payment, receipt, Allocation, Purchase voucher etc) into the accounting software.
Process and verify invoices and expense reports.
Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors/Insurance Companies.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Bank Reconciliation
Insurance Company Reconciliation & Allocation report
Aeging & commission report to Advisors
Month closing ie. Depreciation, Prepaid expenses and provision entries in system
Quarterly VAT filling Report
Central Bank reporting format to incorporate from Praktora System
Provide support for the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Communication with Insurance company & Client for Receipt Payment & allocation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in insurance or retail.
Skills:
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
