Main Tasks:
• Support the Finance Department in the Day to Day duties.
• Full Cycle Bookkeeping.
• Handle all aspects of accounts receivable, accounts payable and billing.
• Maintain accurate, updated and secured accounting records.
• Assist in completing end of year accounting activities.
• Assist auditors in their annual audit review as per instruction by seniors.
• Filing Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
• Accurately perform data entry to produce and maintain logs and track documentation as required.
• Follow Veolia rules, Procedures and Work instructions.
• Respond rapidly to requests for emergency and non-emergency assistance in a professional manner.
• Keep financial information confidential.
• Coordinate with Veolia employees to achieve the required tasks.
• Diligently perform any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of his/her manager.
Requirements:
• Advanced proficiency in Google suite, MS Office and related apps.
• Proficient in accounting software e.g. JD Edwards, Navision.
• Hold a relevant educational qualification from a well recognized and reputable academic institution fit for the required job function.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience and preferably in an industrial environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English is a must.
• Good command of Hindi/Urdu/Arabic is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
