Overview:Maintain Core42\'s financial records & transactions accurately and on time, in line with established internal as well as regulatory accounting procedures, standards & guidelines.Core42 is the UAE\xe2\x80\x99s national-scale enabler for cloud and generative AI, combining G42 Group\xe2\x80\x99s expertise across multiple technology disciplines into a single platform for public sector and large enterprise transformations. Building on our capabilities as sovereign cloud and HPC specialist, we bring generative AI, cybersecurity, professional and managed services expertise to enable national-scale program deployments across industries. Responsibilities:

• Process general accounting functions accurately and on time - including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, debt, transfer of funds and taxes.
• Perform daily accounting duties including the preparation of customer invoices, cash receipts, collections, corporate credit card reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and payroll.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closes.
• Review invoices to validate accuracy, completeness and make corrections as appropriate.
• Update financial records and review journal entries at both account and corporate levels.
• Respond to accounting inquiries from colleagues, employees, vendors and clients by providing complete and timely information.
• Research accounting transaction information and assist in resolving accounting issues.
• Assist with audits and compliance.
• Help in preparing budgets and compiling financial reports.
• Track and analyze monthly receivables and outstanding days.
• Help develop financial reporting dashboards to drive productivity.
• Assist in building and maintaining complex financial models to predict financial performance
• Communicate results to the appropriate stakeholders in Finance, Operations, Sales and Corporate.
• Pro-actively communicate status of over-due receivables to management.

Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the high tech industry

Job-Specific Skills:

• A passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail

A meticulous and diligent approach to accounting * Ability to build relationships and networks

• Good understanding of principles of accounting and policies & procedures applicable to the UAE
• Excellent time management and communication skills
