About Us: Firswood Tax Advisory LLC is a premier tax advisory and financial services firm based in Abu Dhabi. We specialize in providing comprehensive tax advisory, financial planning, and compliance services to a diverse range of clients. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team.

: The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions, including invoicing, payments, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes
• Conduct financial analysis and generate detailed reports
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives
• Handle tax filings and ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations
• Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus
