The accountant is responsible for managing all financial records and accounting processes for the organization. Key duties include:
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements on a regular basis
- Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Reconciling bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records
- Assisting with the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax requirements
- Providing financial reports and analysis to management to support business decision-making
- Researching and resolving complex accounting issues or discrepancies
- Collaborating with other departments to provide financial guidance and support
- Staying up-to-date on changes in accounting principles and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficient in accounting software, spreadsheets, and financial reporting tools
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
