The Accounts and Receivables Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, payment collections, and compliance with financial policies. This role involves supervising a team, maintaining customer relationships, and optimizing the receivables cycle to support organizational cash flow and financial goals.
Key Duties:
Daily
Oversee and manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure all receivables are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor aging reports and address overdue accounts to minimize bad debts.
verifying & approve credit notes and refund issuing.
Lead, mentor, and train the accounts receivable team to maintain high performance standards.
Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure departmental goals are met.
Verify the credit worthiness of new Customers
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address billing concerns.
Implement best practices tools with customize approach to optimize the receivables cycle.
Communication and follow up with legal team to get the status .
Weekly
Prepare and present weekly progress aging reports on accounts receivables status, collection performance, and key metrics.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate smooth payment processes.
Monthly
Prepare monthly progress aging reports on accounts receivables status, collection performance, and key metrics.
Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Provide insights to management on trends, risks, and opportunities related to receivables.
Resolve payment disputes and discrepancies promptly and professionally.
Quarterly balance confirmation from corporate receivables.
Guided by Finance Manager and Business Head on day-to-day action .
Knowledge
Understanding the complete receivables cycle, including invoicing, payment collections, and reconciliations .
Understanding how receivables impact cash flow and working capital.
Understanding Financial Reporting process .
Skills:
Proficiency in managing invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and aging reports.
Expertise in Account software like speed, falcon and Tally
Data Analysis
Ability to analyze financial data, generate reports, and identify trends.
Preparing accurate financial statements and audit-ready documentation.
Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients to ensure timely payments.
Effective communication with sales, operations, and other departments to align financial goals.
Prepairing receivables reports and insights to management in a clear and concise manner.

Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting .
12 years of experience in Finance - 8 Years In UAE .
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Speed, Falcon) and MS Office .
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
