Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Accounts Manager who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulations, and effective financial planning. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably with a Master's degree or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Monitor and analyze budget variances, providing insights and recommendations to management.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes.

Ensure timely collection of receivables and payment of liabilities.

T ax Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT.

Prepare and file tax returns and manage tax audits.

Internal Controls:

Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

F inancial Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

Team Management:

Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals.

Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Stakeholder Communication:

Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.

Communicate financial performance and strategies to stakeholders.

Requirements:

8-10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is highly preferred.
