Who we're looking for:As an Account Executive at VML, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, facilitating relationships and ensuring their needs are met. You will play a crucial role in coordinating projects, facilitating communication between clients and internal teams, and driving overall client satisfaction.What you'll be doing:
Client Relationship Development: Strengthen, expand, and maintain positive relationships between the agency and clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and effective communication.
Project Coordination: Act as a key integrator between internal teams and capabilities, ensuring a common understanding of timelines, projects, and upcoming events/requirements. Coordinate and follow up with all departments to ensure smooth operations and adherence to deadlines and budgets.
Reporting: Maintain clear records, including briefs, status reports, timesheets, and contact reports, for the smooth operation of accounts. Develop any additional client projects reports as requested.
Briefing Process: Receive and analyse briefs from clients, question them as necessary, and discuss with the Account Director and creative teams.
Client Proposals: Prepare and present proposals to clients, defending creative work and providing quotations for client approval. Follow up on client feedback and ensure requested amendments are communicated and executed accurately and in a timely manner.
Financial Procedures: Ensure that all financial procedures are in order, from estimation to submission to client approval. Enter job invoices in the account's budget control sheet, keep it updated, and send invoices to clients for payment. Obtain necessary approvals, including the Approved Billing Number (ABN) from Finance, to ensure accurate and transparent follow-up on billings.
Competitive Analysis & Market Insights: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market landscapes to provide valuable insights to clients. Prepare and present competitive reports that inform strategy and help clients stay ahead in the market.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or any other related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills, with a proactive and positive approach.
Excellent time and project management abilities, with a focus on attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
Experience in agency account management (full-time or internship) is a plus.
Able to work well within a team.
Strong problem-solving, initiative taking and adaptability skills.
