Job Profile
We are seeking an Account Assistant to join our finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, Collections and Reconciliations. Preferable with Zoho Books Experience. They should have strong attention to detail and be responsible for managing the company's accounts and finance transection and accurate and timely data entry. You will play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow and contributing to the overall financial data management of the business.
Key Responsibilities
• Help process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner.
• Process incoming payments and ensure accurate allocation to the corresponding accounts.
• Follow up on overdue payments, sending reminders to clients and resolving payment issues.
• Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve payment discrepancies and disputes.
• Maintain and update accurate financial data in the accounting software.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Conduct accurate reconciliation of various financial records
• Assist with the preparation of Various reports like Aging report, Sales Report etc.
• Help track and manage account receivable.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and company policies, and carry out verification processes and manage SOP compliance relating to and impacting financial cashflow and payables.
• Liaise with various department personnel to carry out accurate and timely accounts work
• Provide support for internal audits.
• Perform general administrative duties related to accounting functions.
• Preparation of projected weekly cash flow
• Handle inquiries from customers regarding their outstanding balances, payment status, and certificate issuance.
Qualification and Requirement:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or a similar accounting role.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Zoho, SAP, or similar).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of pivot tables and VLOOKUP is a plus).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries professionally.
• Strong; problem solving, analytical and negation skills, with a relentless approach to achieving results and collections from internal and external stakeholders.
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
