Job Description

To ensure the provision of comfortable, secure, and well-managed residential facilities of company properties in accordance with Company Policy. Oversee the administration and monitoring of company properties at various locations, ensuring discipline, general maintenance, health and safety, and employee welfare. Job Accountabilities

Overall Supervision: Manage the daily operations and maintenance of family flats, villas, and employee villages. Planning: Oversee camp security and maintain records of assets for tracking and inventory purposes. Maintenance & Inspections: Supervise employee village store activities and manage the labor force assigned to accommodation works. Address and resolve any general complaints from residents. Conduct regular inspections of camps to ensure continual improvement in living standards. Accommodation Arrangements: Coordinate accommodation arrangements for new arrivals, as required. Prepare and submit a Consolidated Monthly Report on accommodation status. Coordination: Liaise with DEWA, Etisalat, local authorities, hospitals, suppliers, and other stakeholders as needed to ensure smooth operation and compliance with local regulations. Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with local laws and client requirements regarding health, safety, and environmental aspects in the workplace. Material Requisition: Prepare and review material requisitions for maintenance, construction, cleaning, and mess supplies, and forward them to the Facilities Manager for approval. Administrative Duties: Handle any other ad hoc administrative tasks as requested by the Line Manager or Management. Qualifications & Education Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in a related field. NEBOSH Certification (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) or similar health and safety qualification is essential. Experience 8 - 10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with a background in accommodation management, facilities management, or health and safety compliance. Knowledge & Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, team members, and stakeholders. Expertise in coordination and team management to oversee multiple tasks and resources efficiently. Health and Safety knowledge and practical experience in applying safety protocols and regulations in the workplace. Ability to supervise and maintain camp facilities in a compliant and professional manner. Strong report-writing skills and proficiency in preparing consolidated reports and handling administrative tasks. Health & Safety Management: Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations (NEBOSH certified). Ability to implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe environment. Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership and team supervision skills. Ability to motivate, guide, and manage a diverse team. Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities. Project & Facilities Management: Proficient in planning and overseeing daily operations of residential facilities. Expertise in ensuring optimal maintenance and compliance with company and regulatory standards. Budgeting, resource allocation, and materials management skills. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain positive relationships with residents, contractors, and stakeholders. Clear and concise reporting skills. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to identify and resolve issues proactively. Strong decision-making skills, balancing safety, cost-effectiveness, and welfare. Ability to handle emergencies and complaints effectively. Cultural Sensitivity & Adaptability: Understanding of and sensitivity to cultural differences. Ability to adapt to changing environments and work in high-pressure situations. Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of local laws, client requirements, and company policies. Ensures all operations and accommodations comply with regulations. Customer Service Orientation: Commitment to providing high-quality service to residents. Ability to handle complaints and requests professionally and efficiently. Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Excellent time management and attention to detail. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of building maintenance systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire detection). Proficiency in using management software for tracking assets and facilities.
