We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Accommodation Cleaner with maintenance knowledge, particularly in plumbing and electrical work, to join our team. : The Accommodation Cleaner with Maintenance Knowledge will be responsible for ensuring that our accommodation facilities are clean, well-maintained, and in good working order. This role requires a blend of cleaning duties and basic maintenance tasks to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for our residents. Key Responsibilities: - Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing all areas of the accommodation facilities. - Clean and maintain common areas, restrooms, kitchens, and individual rooms to high standards. - Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and address issues promptly. - Perform basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures. - Carry out basic electrical repairs including changing light bulbs, fixing switches, and maintaining electrical appliances. - Report major maintenance issues to the appropriate department or external contractors. - Ensure all cleaning and maintenance supplies are adequately stocked and report any shortages. - Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe living environment for residents. - Assist with moving furniture and setting up rooms as needed. - Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing any concerns or requests in a timely manner. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a cleaner in a residential or hospitality setting. - Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, with the ability to perform minor repairs. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. - Good organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. - Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
