A prestigious school in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Academic Coordinator for Special Needs to oversee and optimize our special education programs. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a school environment, possess a valid visa, demonstrate excellent leadership skills, and have the ability to enhance the educational experience for students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure students receive appropriate support and resources.
• Monitor and assess the progress of students, making necessary adjustments to educational plans.
• Provide training and support to teachers and staff on best practices in special education.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to special education.
• Create an inclusive environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional growth of students with special needs.
• Coordinate with external agencies and professionals for additional support and services.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Academic Coordinator or in a similar role, specifically in special education within a school setting.
• Valid visa (residency) owned by the candidate.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Education Administration, or a related field.
