Job Description





The Academic Affairs Executive position provides comprehensive administrative support by managing schedules, handling correspondence, organizing files, and facilitating communication within the organization. This includes participating in the development of work plans, supervising the execution of tasks in the academic affairs unit, completing official transactions, tracking implementation, and offering support to the unit head. Tasks and Responsibilities: o Reviewing requests for the establishment/revising of academic programs and ensuring the completion of required documents in preparation for Deans Group Meetings, the university program and curriculum Academic Affairs Council, and the University Board of Trustees. o Reviewing all files related to students' academic issues received from the offices of the deans and ensuring the required documents are complete. o Collecting and preparing the necessary documents for preparation of and the university academic affairs calendar and submitting them to the head of the unit. o Working directly with the Admissions and Registration Deanship and addressing all academic matters related to students, coordinating and following up with the Student Cases Committee / Students Disciplinary Council (Academic) / Program and Curriculum Committee. o Following up on the completion of various official transactions related to the unit and ensuring that all administrative instructions and decisions are implemented correctly. o Following up with the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) o on related issues. o Preparing for meetings of the Academic Affairs Council and the Council of Deans Group, attending the meetings, and preparing the agenda and minutes. o Preparing special and confidential studies and reports as required by the head of the unit. o Preparing or supervising the preparation of various studies as directed by the head of the unit. o Providing technical support to the head of the unit to ensure compliance with university bylaws, policies, and procedures. o Supervising the preservation and archiving of data and documents related to the functions of the unit. o Performing any other work-related tasks as assigned.



Minimum Qualification



A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., administration, business administration, or a related discipline)



Preferred Qualification



Several years of experience in an administrative or executive support role.
