As an

AC Technician

, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems throughout the property. This role requires troubleshooting skills, technical expertise, and a solid understanding of HVAC systems. You will also ensure that all air conditioning units operate efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

AC Installation & Maintenance:

Install, maintain, and repair various types of air conditioning units and HVAC systems within the property.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose issues with AC systems and provide efficient solutions to repair or replace faulty parts.

Routine Inspections:

Conduct regular inspections of air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.

Repairs & Replacements:

Fix or replace damaged components such as compressors, fans, filters, and thermostats.

Energy Efficiency:

Optimize HVAC systems for energy efficiency and ensure they meet environmental and sustainability standards.

Preventative Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, replacing worn-out parts, and checking refrigerant levels.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections performed.

Compliance:

Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations, including handling refrigerants responsibly.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the maintenance team and other departments to coordinate repairs and ensure the comfort of guests and staff.

Emergency Repairs:

Respond to emergency repair requests, particularly in situations affecting guest comfort or hotel operations.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Proven experience as an

AC Technician

or HVAC technician, with hands-on experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of air conditioning systems.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including cooling, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration.

Certification:

Certification in HVAC, refrigeration, or a similar field (e.g., EPA certification, HVAC/R license) is preferred.

Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly and efficiently.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined or elevated spaces.

Attention to Detail:

Strong focus on quality, safety, and accuracy in repairs and maintenance.

Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and report on issues and repairs clearly.

Availability:

Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or an associate degree in HVAC technology is a plus.
