Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Ductman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, maintaining, and repairing ductwork systems for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) in various construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ductwork Installation: Install ductwork systems, including metal and flexible ducts, according to blueprints and specifications. Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and insulation of ducts.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout and installation of duct systems.
• Fabrication: Measure, cut, and assemble duct components using hand and power tools. Fabricate ductwork and fittings as required.
• System Testing: Test duct systems for proper airflow and leaks. Make necessary adjustments and repairs to ensure efficient operation.
• Maintenance and Repair: Inspect, maintain, and repair existing ductwork systems. Replace damaged or worn components as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and building codes. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC codes and standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other construction professionals, including HVAC technicians, electricians, and plumbers, to ensure project completion within deadlines.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job. Prepare reports as required.
